Pearlescent opal vinyl is different regular opal teckwrap vinyls. The surface is much more smooth and this vinyl give a pearlescent look which makes the vinyl itself glow. There is no protective layer on pearlescent vinyl. More importantly, it can be easily cut.
A low-adhesive mat is recommended if using a mat for cutting, as well as a medium tack transfer tape. Some people have better luck with low tack OR high tack. Use what works best for you!
